Operational objectives

Sniegt psiholoģisko, materiālo, medicīnisko un cita veida atbalstu bērniem ar onkohematoloģiskām slimībām un ģimenēm, kurās ir bērni invalīdi un bērni ar īpašām vajadzībām, uzlabot dzīves kvalitāti bērniem pēc onkoloģiskā un hematoloģiskām saslimšanām, veicināt dzīves funkciju atgūšanu un psihosociālo pielāgošanos, kā arī sniegt jebkuru praktisko palīdzību bērniem un viņu tuviniekiem, tai skaitā:
-dažādas savstarpējā atbalsta grupas (vecāku atbalsta grupas un pusaudžu atbalsta grupas, lai palīdzētu dalīties pieredzē, sniegtu iespēju saņemt palīdzību, apvienojot to ar praktisku informāciju, sniegtu padomu, atbalstu, sapratni un iespēju dalīties savās izjūtās un emocijās, apspriestu problēmas un to risināšanas viedus, atjaunotu ģimenes locekļu iekšējo psiholoģisko līdzsvaru), ģimeņu nodarbības un radošās darbnīcas,
- individuālās psihologa konsultācijas (dažādu individuālu psiholoģisko grūtību gadījumos: vecumposmu krīžu situācijās, konfliktu situācijās, attiecību problēmu gadījumos u.c.),
- atbalsts jaunajām māmiņām,
- atbalsts senioriem - pozitīvas un cieņpilnas novecošanas veicināšana,
- atbalsts daudzbērnu un maznodrošinātām/trūcīgām ģimenēm,
- dažādu pakalpojumu attīstības veicināšana un pieejamība ģimenēm un bērniem, kuriem ir nepieciešama īpaša aprūpe, palīdzība vai pakalpojumi;
veicināt plašākas sabiedrības izpratni par iecietību pret ģimenēm, kurās ir bērni ar īpašām vajadzībām, veidot sabiedrības pozitīvu attieksmi pret visiem bērniem, popularizēt ģimeņu atbalsta kustību, iesaistot plašu sabiedrību, valsts un sabiedriskās organizācijas praktiskās palīdzības sniegšanā bērniem, kuri slimo ar leikozi un citām onkohematoloģiskajām slimībām, kā arī bērniem, kuri ir redzes un dzirdes invalīdi, un citi invalīdi;
veicināt dažādu valsts (pašvaldību) institūciju, nevalstisko organizāciju, ārstniecības iestāžu un rehabilitācijas centru, kuros tiek veikta bērnu ārstēšana, savstarpējo sadarbību praktiskās palīdzības sniegšanā bērniem ar īpašām vajadzībām un viņu ģimenēm, īpaši daudzbērnu un mazturīgajām ģimenēm;
nodrošināt pakalpojumu pieejamību un ieviest jaunus alternatīvus sociālos pakalpojumus:
- sociālā rehabilitācija invalīdiem - bērniem ar onkohematoloģiskām saslimšanām un fiziska rakstura attīstības traucējumiem (cilvēkiem ar kustību un pārvietošanās traucējumiem) pēc individuāla rehabilitācijas plāna,
- veicināt bērnu un jauniešu ar invaliditāti integrāciju sabiedrībā un pievērst sabiedrības uzmanību bērnu un jauniešu ar invaliditāti problēmām, veicināt pozitīvu attieksmi pret bērnu un jauniešu ar speciālām vajadzībām integrāciju sabiedrībā, palīdzot kļūt par pilntiesīgiem tās locekļiem,
- novērst vai mazināt invaliditātes un citu faktoru izraisītās nelabvēlīgās sociālās sekas personas dzīvē, uzlabot vai atjaunot personas sociālās funkcionēšanas spējas, lai palīdzētu bērniem ar invaliditāti un bērniem no mazturīgām ģimenēm iekļauties sabiedrībā, sniegt pakalpojumus personas dzīvesvietā vai tuvu tai;
mūžizglītība, interešu izglītība, profesionālā izglītība;
psiholoģiskais atbalsts, konsultācijas, interešu klubu organizēšana, sociālais atbalsts.
