Aizstāvēt un pārstāvēt strādājošo jūrnieku intereses valsts, sabiedriskās, ārvalstu un citās institūcijās;
Palīdzēt pensionētiem jūrniekiem un jūrnieku ģimenēm sociālo jautājumu risināšanā;
