Operational objectives

Mednieku kolektīva veidošana;
zvejas un medību saimniecības organizēšana, vadīšana;
zivju resursu aizsargāšana un uzraudzība;
makšķerēšanas noteikumu ievērošanas kontrole;
rūpēties par vidi un tās sakārtošanu;
veicināt cilvēku interesi par makšķerēšanu;
makšķerēšanas sacensību organizēšana;
videi draudzīgas makšķerēšanas un makšķerēšanas tūrisma attīstīšana un popularizēšana;
attīstīt zvejas un medību saimniecību saskaņā ar savvaļas dzīvnieku un to apdzīvojamās vides daudzveidības saglabāšanas ilgtspējīgas izmantošanas principiem
popularizēt medības un zveju kā Latvijā vēsturiski tradicionālu un videi draudzīgu atpūtas veidu un iespēju lauku vides attīstībai;
aizstāvēt un pārstāvēt savu biedru kopīgās intereses valsts, pašvaldības un sabiedriskajās institūcijās Latvijā un ārvalstīs;
organizēt un veicināt zvejnieku, mednieku, trofeju ekspertu un kinologu apmācību;
veicināt šaušanas sporta attīstību, ierīkojot šautuves, organizējot apmācības kursus un sacensības;
rīkot medību trofeju un suņu izstādes, kā arī citus mednieku un zvejnieku sabiedriskos pasākumus;
sniegt biedrības biedriem konsultācijas medību un zvejnieku saimniecības organizācijas un citos ar medībām un zveju saistītos jautājumos;
savas kompetences ietvaros kontrolēt medību un zvejas normatīvo aktu ievērošanu;
dibināt kontaktus un sadarboties ar ārvalstu mednieku un zvejnieku sabiedriskajām struktūrām Latvijas un saskaņotas Baltijas reģiona medību un zvejnieku saimniecības attīstībai;
saņemt ziedojumus no Latvijas un ārvalstu organizācijām un uzņēmumiem Biedrības pasākumiem, materiāli tehniskās bāzes nostiprināšanai un citiem mērķiem;
reklamēt savu darbību, biedru un biedrības sponsoru darbību;
savas kompetences ietvaros dibināt un uzturēt lietišķus kontaktus un fiziskām un juridiskām personām Latvijā un ārvalstīs.
