Operational objectives

1. Saglabāt un attīstīt Smiltenes novada un pilsētas vēsturiskās un kultūras vērtības;
2. Veicināt sabiedrībai noderīgu projektu realizēšanu Smiltenes novadam un pilsētai;
3. Iesaistīties projektos, koordinēt un piesaistīt finansiālos, materiālos, intelektuālos, cilvēkresursus un cita veida resursus biedrības mērķu sasniegšanai;
4. Veicināt Smiltenes novada un pilsētas attīstību, organizējot lietderīgu un produktīvu brīvā laika pavadīšanas iespējas bērniem un jauniešiem un citām sociālām grupām, organizējot un popularizējot dažādus hobijus un aktivitātes;
5. Veicināt papildus praktisko iemaņu apguvi bērniem, jauniešiem un citām sociālām grupām, organizējot dažādas nodarbības, radošās darbnīcas, kursus, seminārus, pieredzes apmaiņas un citus pasākumus;
6. Pilsoniskās sabiedrības stiprināšana, tradīciju, kultūras un izglītības veicināšana;
7. Rosināt sabiedrības līdzdalību novadam un pilsētai nozīmīgu jautājumu lemšanā un īstenošanā;
8. Organizēt un iesaistīties labdarības pasākumos, iesaistīt brīvprātīgos sociālās palīdzības sniegšanā;
9. Sadarboties ar novada un tuvāko novada pašvaldībām, pagastu pārvaldēm, nevalstiskām organizācijām, uzņēmumiem un vietējiem plašsaziņas līdzekļiem;
10. Popularizēt kultūrizglītojošas atpūtas, izklaides iespējas novadā, pilsētā un tuvējā apkārtnē;
11. Iesaistīties pārrobežas projektos un veicināt sadarbību ar pārrobežas organizācijām, pilsētām un apgabaliem.
