1. Latvijas kino un vizuālās mākslas mantojuma saglabāšana, izpēte un popularizēšana;
2.Ventspils kino un kinoteātru vēsturiskā izpēte un popularizēšana; 3.Veicināt un palielināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju interesi par kino mūsdienās un kino vēsturi; 4. Organizēt lekcijas un nodarbības, ekskursijas, filmu seansus un darbnīcas muzeja apmeklētājiem; 5. Sniegt iespēju jaunajiem režisoriem, amatieriem, izrādīt savas īsfilmas/pilnmetrāžas filmas; 6. Atdzīvināt Ventspils vecpilsētas teritoriju; 7. Veicināt nekomerciālo kino filmu uzņemšanu; 8. Atbalstīt un veicināt filmu producēšanu un izziņu katalogu izdošanu; 9. Sniegt informāciju un atbalstīt vizuālo mākslu, dizainu, arhitektūru un tās restaurāciju, vēsturi un humanitāro zinātni, mūziku, deju, teātri, Tautas mākslu; 10. Atbalstīt skatuves māksliniekus un sniegt tiem iespēju izrādīt iestudētās izrādes; 11. Atbalstīt un pašiem pētī sociālo zinātni, politiku, zinātni un tehnoloģijas; 12. Sakopt Ventspils un vecpilsētas teritoriju; 13. Organizēt pasākumus ģimenēm un bērniem; 14. Atbalstīt ģimenes un bērnus; 15. Veicināt kultūras apmaiņu. |
