Veicināt uzņēmējdarbības attīstību Latgales reģionā, sadarbojoties valsts, nevalstiskajām, uzņēmējdarbības, pašvaldību, izglītības un zinātnes sektoriem.
Veicināt labāko tehnisko risinājumu pārņemšanu un to ieviešanu uzņēmējdarbības, izglītības, pētniecības, inovāciju un mūžizglītības jomās. Veicināt inovatīvu tehnoloģiju radīšanu, attīstīšanu un atbalstu vides, mašīnbūves, vieglās rūpniecības un lauksaimniecības jomā, tai skaitā piesaistot investīcijas. Sekmēt jaunu tehnoloģiju izmantošanu un ieviešanu, kāpināt uzņēmumu produktivitāti un to konkurētspēju, veicināt cilvēkresursu kapacitātes stiprināšanu. Veicināt ilgtspējīgu, klimata pārmaiņas mazinošu un vidi saudzējošu tehnoloģiju ieviešanu tautsaimniecībā, nodrošināt izglītību un pētniecību šinīs jomās. Nodrošināt starpdisciplināru un starpnozaru sadarbību pētniecības, izglītības un inovāciju jomā. Izstrādājot sadarbības modeļus un konceptu, balstīties uz Eiropas Savienības, Latvijas Republikas, kā arī citiem saistošajiem stratēģiskajiem dokumentiem un labas prakses principiem. Piedalīties likumdošanas un citu normatīvo aktu izstrādē un ieviešanā. Izstrādāt un popularizēt sabiedrībā izglītojoša rakstura materiālus, realizēt izglītojošas aktivitātes un pasākumus. Lasīt lekcijas, sniegt konsultācijas un veikt ekspertīzes. Organizēt tikšanās, izglītojošus pasākumus, konferences, seminārus, kursus u.c. Biedrībai nozīmīgas aktivitātes. Aizstāvēt un paaugstināt inženiertehniskās un tehnoloģiskās izglītības lomu Latvijas tautsaimniecībā. |
