Veicināt jahtu burāšanas attīstību, popularizēt un stiprināt burāšanas tradīcijas.
Apvienot burātājus, jahtu īpašniekus un citus interesentus, organizējot sporta, izglītojošus un sabiedriskus pasākumus.
Sekmēt kvalificētu jahtu vadītāju un burāšanas tiesnešu sagatavošanu.
Organizēt vietēja un starptautiska mēroga burāšanas sacensības un tālos jūras pārgājienus.
Sekmēt jahtu kvalitatīvu ekspluatāciju, veicināt inventāra iegādi un remontu.
Bērnu un jauniešu interešu atbalstīšana un iesaistīšana burāšanā.
Veicināt burātāju dalību Latvijas un starptautiskajās sacensībās.
Pārstāvēt Biedrības intereses vietējās un starptautiskās burāšanas sporta organizācijās.
