| Operational objectives |
Veicināt un palielināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju interesi par sportu un fiziskām aktivitātēm;
veidot iedzīvotāju sapratni par veselības saglabāšanu un nostiprināšanu; palielināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju skaitu, kas nodarbojas ar fiziskām aktivitātēm un sportu; nodrošināt iespējas bērniem un jauniešiem iesaistīties sportiskās nodarbībās, veicinot veselīgu un kustīgu dzīvesveidu; atbalstīt sporta veterānus; organizēt, rīkot un atbalstīt veselību, aktīvo atpūtu un slimību profilaksi veicinošus sporta pasākumus - koptreniņus, sacensības u. tml.; organizēt izglītojošus pasākumus, tikšanās ar sportistiem un lekcijas, vērstas uz veselīga un kustīga dzīvesveida popularizēšanu sabiedrībā; veicināt karatē attīstību Latvijā; izveidot sadarbības sistēmu ar radniecīgām organizācijām, lai koordinētu un saskaņotu karatē attīstību Latvijā; pārstāvēt Biedrības biedru intereses sporta organizācijās un apvienībās; apvienot citu sacensību organizatorus, veicinot komunikāciju to starpā un pārstāvot to intereses citās organizācijās; veicināt starptautisku sadarbību ar radniecīgajām organizācijām Eiropā un pasaulē; nodrošināt biedrības biedriem un citām personām iespēju piedalīties sacensībās Latvijā un ārvalstīs; veicināt sporta dzīves attīstību reģionos, rīkojot sacensības un citus pasākumus sadarbībā ar pašvaldībām un citām organizācijām. |
