Operational objectives

1) Dabas aizsardzība, atjaunošana un ilgtspējīga apsaimniekošana, īpaši aizsargājamo dabas teritoriju pārvaldīšana, dabas resursu saglabāšana un to ilgtspējīga izmantošana, vides kvalitātes saglabāšana, piesārņojuma samazināšana, sabiedrības izglītošana un informēšana vides un dabas aizsardzības jomā, kā arī cita ar vides un dabas aizsardzību saistīta darbība;
2) Palīdzība dzīvniekiem un atbalsts mājdzīvnieku patversmēm;
3) Brīvprātīgo darba organizēšana un sabiedrības līdzdalības brīvprātīgajā darbā sekmēšana, tai skaitā brīvprātīgā darba veicēju apmācība;
4) Veikt kultūras un pieredzes apmaiņu, sociālo attīstību starptautiskā līmenī;
5) Piesaistīt cilvēkus ar līdzīgām interesēm, popularizēt un attīstīt iekšējo tūrismu Latvijā, tostarp pārgājienus un citus atpūtas veidus dabā.
